Job Title: Technical Manager (Cement Company)

Work Location: Guiguinto, Bulacan (Warehouse)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday , Saturday (open for telework)

Salary & benefits: Max 150k DOE, communication allowance, 13th mo pay, HMO coverage, Accident Insurance, Leave Credits (increasing based on tenure)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the technical department, including R&D, process engineering, and technical support.

  • Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Innovation and Development:

  • Oversee the research and development of new products and technologies (liquid chemicals, construction chemicals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements.

  • Identify and implement new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Project Management:

  • Manage technical projects from conception to completion.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures.

  • Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve technical issues.

Team Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor technical staff and technical sales

JOB DESCRIPTION:

More on the laboratory R&D side with preference from liquid chemicals, construction chemicals

Lead and manage the technical department.

Develop and implement technical strategies.

Oversee R&D and process improvement projects.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Monitor and improve product quality.

Manage technical projects and ensure timely delivery.

Recruit, train, and mentor technical staff and technical sales staff

Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals.

Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Prepare and present technical reports to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

Extensive knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and technologies.

Understanding of regulatory requirements in the chemical industry.

Strong competence in R&D of chemicals

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management and technical software.

Other Attributes:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical leadership role within the chemical

industry.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php150,000.00 per month
