Summary of the Position:

You will be a member of the Global IT Infrastructure Services organization responsible for professional and technical work related to network and telecommunications services. This is an advanced service supporting role primarily responsible for the transitional and operational tasks and duties in support of network service implementations that span across a broad range of global network services and solutions (Firewall and Network Security).

Job Responsibilities

  • You will develop and maintain secure network solutions to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems: plan

    • document
    • implement
    • configure
    • debug
    • improve
  • You will provide expert advice on network security strategies and solutions to cross functional project teams
  • You will troubleshoot intermediate to advanced problems, escalating to upper level associates as appropriate
  • You will monitor and analyze security events in real-time to detect and respond to threats.
  • You will manage small to medium Networking projects within area of specialization
  • You will develop detailed designs, business cases, and communicate expert advice on network security strategies and solutions needed to support business critical systems and operations
  • You will lead problem resolution and documentation

Requirements:

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology
  • You must have 2-3 years total of relevant Technical or Business work experience in global organization
  • Very good communication skills: Ability to convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences
  • Background in networks work in general, firewall – Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint
  • Nice to have: ITIL Certifications, but ok with just very good understanding
  • Your SOC experience would be an asset
  • Your Security Certification would be an asset
  • You must have the ability to convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences
  • You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You must have the ability to understand the business needs and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business
  • You must have an effective organization & time management skills
  • You must have good project management skills
  • You must be willing to travel
  • You must be willing to go on a rotating shift since this is part of a global team
