Analyst Programmer

For this role, with 1-2 years of proven experience is preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient Backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into Backend functionalities.
  • Optimize code, integrate design patterns, and ensure high performance, reliability, and security of Backend systems.
  • Work with relational databases, write efficient SQL queries, and maintain data models.
  • Implement RESTful APIs with authentication, error handling, and versioning.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and maintain code quality.
  • Collaborate with Frontend developers to integrate Frontend components with Backend services.
  • Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing and monitoring.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in Backend development.
  • Develop the solution according to the system design to support residual business processes and customized application systems integrated with eMPF
  • Support system integration according to the data interface specification,
  • Support SIT, UAT, non-functional test, etc.
  • Prepare technical related materials for the architecture, security, service transition and PCQA

Preferred skills

  • Agile delivery experience

1-3 years or more in the following technologies:

  • Frontend (Mobile UI) – Angular 8 and up, Ionic 4 and up, Typescript, HTML/CSS, IBM MFP
  • Backend – Java, J2EE, IBM WAS, Oracle SQL, API and web services
  • Analysis and design, with testing experience
  • Atleast 1 year Systems Analyst
  • Experience in managing multiple resources/developers
  • Competent Systems Analysis and Design skills
  • Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) major tasks and deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience working in cross functional environment
  • Knowledge in Source Code Control procedures
  • Knowledge/experience in Release Management practices
  • Knowledge/experience in Configuration Management practices

Other technologies (nice to have, but a plus)

Apache CXF, Spring Framework, Hibernate / JPA, Jackson / JSON Processor, Microservices Architecture, Swagger / API Documentation Framework, Bean Validation, Unit Testing
