Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Event Specialist / Banquet Officer who will plan, organize, and execute brand events, in-store activations, and community engagements. This role is freelance and commission-based, best suited for individuals who enjoy flexibility while driving sales, customer engagement, and memorable brand experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Execution – Develop event concepts, coordinate logistics, and oversee actual on-site event execution.
  • Customer & Brand Engagement – Actively promote events online (social media groups, customer outreach), engage guests during events, and ensure positive customer experience.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination – Source vendors, negotiate pricing, and manage partner collaborations to maximize value.
  • Budget & Reporting – Monitor expenses to stay within approved budgets, prepare post-event reports, and track performance indicators.
  • Operational Support – Maintain an updated events calendar, track materials, and ensure smooth setup and dismantling of event activities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in event coordination, sales, hospitality, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement and vendor management.
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, and able to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
