The basic duty and responsibility of the position is to disseminates information to patients/guarantor regarding hospital policies and procedures as regards to billing and settlement of accounts and accommodates customers with queries regarding hospital charges.

· Ensuring the patient's medical information is accurate and updated.

· Checks and applies any charges that might be incurred by the patient due to staying beyond the cut-off time.

· Finalizes and issues Statement of account/s to patients including SOA-Philhealth.

· Encodes and finalized professional fees of physicians from ePF ang PHIC in BIzbox

· Preparing bills and documenting amount due for medical procedures and services.

· Collecting and reviewing referrals and pre-authorization (LOA)

· Hand overs the Patient Discharge Form to Philhealth and Cashier respectively during Financial discharge process

· Examining patient bills for accuracy and requesting any missing information.

· Validates LOA and perform system tagging of HMO and Corporate accounts for inpatient transactions.

· Posts and applies the applicable and necessary discount (such as Senior Citizen/PWD discounts, employee discounts and other promo discounts for patient transactions.

· Resolves problem by using available information and good judgement and decision-making skills

Monitor the flow of documents by recording incoming and outcoming items.

· Prepares daily billing report

· Handles phone, mail, and personal inquiries regarding patient accounts

· Performs related billing responsibilities as assigned: Follows hospital and department policies and procedures

· Actively participates in organization wide activities and taskforces assigned relevant to the corporate Vison, Mission and Values, and strategic objectives of the organization.

· Maintains and adheres to strict confidentiality of all records/documents and patient's information.

Performs additional tasks assigned by Immediate Superior

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: Php20, Php21,000.00 per month
