Junior Architect for Interior Design BIM

This is for one-year contract only.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate of Architecture

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools
  • Knowledge of architectural detailing and coordination
  • Familiarity with all phases of project design and delivery

Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Working knowledge of Rhinoceros, Enscape, Grasshopper and V-Ray are welcome additions.
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and quality-focused
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and deadline management skills
  • Works independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively at all levels
  • Solid understanding of design, development, and documentation processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Design

  • Responsible for successful delivery of projects
  • Oversee the work of other staff in line with anticipated resource requirements per project
  • Co-ordination of the Concept, Schematic and Detailed Design stages
  • Review and preparation of details and material specifications ensuring technical excellence throughout the practice
  • Co-ordination with external sub-consultants to meet project needs
  • liaises directly with clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Co-ordination between architects and a multi-disciplinary team
  • Providing vital link between the Design and Construction teams, offering technical advice when required
  • Raising major issues, sharing concerns, providing monthly reports on project progress to the relevant director
  • Presenting and submitting the various deliverables to the relevant director for review and approval
  • Signaling resource allocation needs
  • Management and development of the company's design standards

BIM:

  • Model the Project in BIM
  • Adhere to the prescribed Project Coding, Naming, Numbering for BIM Platforms and Work sets.

  • Develop shared data and relationships between models e.g., grids, floor levels, shared project coordinates.

  • Ensure that all the procedures for Information Exchange are defined and implemented.

  • Confirm that all the project team members are following BIM Execution Plan
  • Arranging QC/QA meetings and agendas.
  • Pre-Planning each BIM creation considering model content, level of details, format, and party responsible for updates plus the distribution of the model and data to various parties.
  • Participating in all major BIM activities as required by the team.
  • Certify that the project is based on the prescribed BIM standards and protocol established.
  • Extract and develop architectural drawings from the BIM models as per the industry standards.
