Wheatland Health Community Care is expanding our outreach and looking for a Cold Caller to help us build relationships with referral sources and generate new patient leads. This role is focused purely on cold calling, lead generation, and setting referral appointments.

This position is perfect for someone who is confident, outgoing, and not afraid to pick up the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound cold calls daily to:
  • Workers' compensation adjusters
  • Care coordinators (Aetna, HomeLink, VA, Medicaid HMOs, commercial plans)
  • Physician offices
  • Case managers
  • Placement agencies (e.g., A Place for Mom, senior services)
  • Introduce Wheatland Health Community Care's services clearly and professionally
  • Identify decision-makers and gather correct contact information
  • Pitch our core services (skilled nursing, therapy, HHA, complex care, and workers' comp services)
  • Set referral appointments or request active referrals
  • Log all calls, outcomes, and contact details into
  • Follow up consistently with warm leads and interested partners
  • Hit weekly call volume and conversion targets
  • Maintain professionalism even with rejection or difficult calls

Qualifications

  • Strong, confident English speaking skills
  • Prior experience in:
  • Cold calling
  • Telemarketing
  • Lead generation
  • Appointment setting(Healthcare experience is a bonus but not required)
  • Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day
  • Resilient, energetic, and persuasive
  • Great with follow-through and documenting every call
  • Organized and able to work independently with clear targets
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with CRM or tracking tools experience a plus)
