About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our growing team in Cebu. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions—including multimodal LLMs and agentic AI systems—while analyzing complex datasets to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that directly support business decision-making.

This position is ideal for a data science professional who is passionate about applying cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to solve real-world challenges and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize ML models, LLMs, multimodal AI systems, and intelligent solutions for business needs.
  • Explore and implement agentic AI architectures to enable reasoning, planning, and autonomous decision-making.
  • Develop NLP/NLU pipelines, generative AI models, and conversational agents using modern frameworks.
  • Utilize deep learning tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, Hugging Face) for advanced AI applications.
  • Deploy and scale AI solutions on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), with hands-on expertise in Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Gemini APIs.
  • Build AI-powered dashboards and prototypes using Streamlit, Dash, or Flask.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model interpretability assessments.
  • Apply MLOps best practices: CI/CD, monitoring, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, business) to integrate AI into products and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML research, tools, and trends, and drive innovation.
  • Document AI pipelines, models, and insights clearly and reproducibly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Ph.D. a plus).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, with strong AI/ML and LLM application expertise.
  • Proficiency in Python (or R) with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), multimodal AI, reinforcement learning, and generative AI.
  • Familiarity with agent-based AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar).
  • Hands-on cloud experience (GCP preferred) and strong MLOps background.
  • Ability to build interactive prototypes and AI-enabled apps.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Work Setup

  • Location: Cebu (Full Onsite)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Shift: 8 hours per day

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php140, Php150,000.00 per month
