Job Overview:
As a
Product Manager - Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships
, you will lead the charge in driving new GXI GCash Card acquisitions and establishing high-value partnerships. This critical role focuses on expanding the card's reach through strategic partnerships and optimizing the customer acquisition strategy. You will also play a key role in managing the profitability (P&L) and growth of the card product.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Acquisition Growth:
- Define and execute the product strategy to drive new card issuance and customer acquisition across various channels (in-app, digital, retail, and public sector partners).
- Manage the card's acquisition P&L by optimizing Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) and improving card activation rates.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify acquisition gaps and high-potential customer segments.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to design, implement, and track A/B tests and acquisition campaigns.
- Analyze customer onboarding flows and data to remove friction points and optimize the card issuance process.
2. Strategic Partnership Management & Value Creation:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-impact partners (banks, retailers, payment processors, etc.) to drive card acquisition and enhance the card's value proposition.
- Structure and negotiate commercial agreements with partners, ensuring scalability and alignment with GCash's long-term strategy.
- Act as the primary product liaison for partners, aligning on joint initiatives and Go-To-Market plans.
- Work with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure all partnerships and acquisitions comply with regulatory standards (e.g., KYC, BSP).
- Lead the execution of new partner integrations, collaborating closely with engineering and technical teams.
3. Cross-functional Execution & Go-to-Market (GTM):
- Lead the GTM strategy for new acquisition channels and partner-driven features.
- Ensure successful delivery of solutions in alignment with both partner needs and internal objectives.
- Collaborate across teams, including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support, to ensure smooth product execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years
of experience in
Product Management
, preferably in
FinTech, Payments, or Banking
, with a focus on customer acquisition and partnership-driven growth. - Strong knowledge of
digital acquisition funnels
, conversion rate optimization (CRO), performance marketing metrics (e.g., CPA, LTV, CAC), and A/B testing. - Excellent skills in
commercial negotiations
and building strategic partnerships. - Data-driven
with strong analytical abilities to assess acquisition and partnership performance. - Deep understanding of
regulatory compliance
(e.g., BSP, KYC, AML) in financial services and customer acquisition processes. - Proficiency in
Agile methodologies
and the ability to prioritize features and initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with
digital acquisition
for financial products (e.g., credit cards, debit cards, loans). - SQL proficiency
for advanced data analysis. - Experience in a
regulated banking or Electronic Money Issuer (EMI)
environment.
