
Planning and Engineering Staff

The PED Staff is responsible for the overall maintenance and operational efficiency of the building facility. This role ensures that all building systems are functioning properly, regulatory requirements are met, and tenant construction and utilities are effectively managed. The PED Staff also coordinates with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve building-related issues promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Maintenance & Problem Resolution
- Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of the building and its facilities.
- Respond and resolve any issues or concerns related to the building structure, utilities, or systems.
Ensure timely resolution of structural, plumbing, and mechanical concerns.
Utility Monitoring and Management
- Monitor and record daily readings of electrical and water consumption.
- Manage overall electrical usage and efficiency of the store.
Prepare monthly reports and billing of tenant electricity & water usage for submission to Accounting.
Tenant Coordination and Showroom Construction
- Assist tenants in their showroom construction or renovation.
- Ensure tenant activities comply with the store's construction fit-out guidelines.
Participate in discussions and provide technical assistance as needed.
Preventive Maintenance System (PMS)
- Oversee and implement PMS schedules for all MC assets, including:
- Air Conditioning Units
- Forklift
- Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS)
- Fire Protection Systems
Ensure all equipment is regularly serviced and in good working condition.
Subcontractor Sourcing and Coordination
- Identify and evaluate subcontractors for building facility repairs and services.
Coordinate subcontractor work and ensure compliance with scope and safety standards.
Permit Management
- Secure and comply permits, including but not limited to:
- BFP-FSIC (Fire Safety Inspection Certificate)
- Discharge Permits with DENR and LLDA
Ensure compliance with all permit-related requirements and renewals
Store Opening and Closing Procedures
o Implement and oversee the proper opening and closing protocols of the store.
o Ensure building systems and safety checks are conducted during these procedures.
- Monthly Accomplishment Report
o Prepare and submit a comprehensive monthly accomplishment report summarizing maintenance activities, issues addressed, utility usage, permit updates, and ongoing projects.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Civil Engineering
Licensed Civil Engineer is a plus
Atleast 6 months experience in the same field
