Job Summary

The CAD Operator is responsible for creating, revising, and documenting 2D and 3D technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, to support engineering and architectural projects. The role involves translating designs into accurate drawings, collaborating with project teams, maintaining organized records, and ensuring compliance with standards. The CAD Operator works closely with engineers, architects, and designers to meet project goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications from engineers, architects, or designers.
  • Update and adjust existing drawings based on feedback or design changes.
  • Verify that drawings meet industry standards, project requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and surveyors to ensure alignment and timely completion of projects.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and error-free.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong skills in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and drafting standards.
  • Ability to produce precise and accurate drawings.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
