CAD Technician

We are seeking a CAD technician as we take on interesting large-scale projects. Working on technically complex and challenging projects within the building industry, CAD Technician will be involved in project technical drafting as well as collaboration with relevant team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality technical drawings of Fire / Smoke Curtains (plans, sections & details) based on drawings supplied by client and information supplied by survey and make modifications to existing drawings
  • Create schematic diagrams required for Fire / Smoke Curtain project
  • Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
  • Provide drawing register and schedule that aligns with the project requirements
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, designers, Project Manager and other relevant individual (via email or Teams meeting) to understand the design requirements
  • Ensure drawings are compliant with industry standards and protocols
  • Able to explore, upload and download files to & from collaborative sites/CDE (Asite, V4P, Aconex, etc.)
  • Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or discrepancies
  • Communicate effectively with team Lead to ensure project deadlines are met

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge in utilising AutoCAD software (At least 3 years experience Preferable)
  • Experience with different collaborative sites (Asite, V4P, Aconex etc.) (Nice to have, Basic training will be provided if required)
  • Able to read Architectural / Construction drawings
  • Able to read survey data
  • Able to produce Construction drawings (At least 3 years experience Preferable)
  • Knowledge in building Construction materials
  • Highly detail-oriented

Additional Information:

  • M to F, 1pm to 10pm Manila Time
  • 10x a month onsite in any Outsourced office
