QA/QC Engineer

Location: Project sites (Metro or Provincial)

Reports To: Project Manager / QAQC Manager/QAQC Supervisor

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction materials and processes through rigorous inspections, testing, and documentation. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and standards of the project from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all inspection, monitors the required test and records inspection and test based on the specification
  • Identify/ Hold and Control non-conforming Materials being Installed in Project Site
  • Detect and Controls non-conforming Practices which can lead to Product Failure and Non acceptance by the client
  • Ensures that Non-conformance Report is raised once the activities deviated from the project specification
  • Complies and maintains records of inspection and tests results within the project duration
  • Conducts inspection using appropriate Measuring Tool prior, during and after concreting works
  • Conducts inspection of construction materials at quarry sites, fabrication area, and plant of origin prior to delivery at site using the Inspection Checklist Form
  • Conducts inspection and monitors the operational condition of Concrete Batching Plant prior to batching and checks the batch weights based on the approved design mix.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Newly licensed civil engineers are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with material testing standards, ISO-based quality systems, and construction procedures is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate or accept assignment to project sites within or outside the metro.
