JOB DESCRIPTION:

The company is growing its business and is seeking a QA/QC Engineer that can immediately add value to the organization. We are looking for an accountable QA/QC Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Initiate site inspection, tests and other non-conformance reports.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (schedule, plans, personnel's workmanship) and report regularly on project status.
  • Prepare preliminary documents like Method Statement, Inspection Test Plan, etc.
  • Report quality issues and concerns on the actual site.
  • File QA/QC documents such as tests results, calibration, inspection requests, etc.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Civil Engineering graduate with 1-3 years working experience as QA/QC Engineer (Structural and Fit-out Experience). PRC License is an advantage.
  • Work experience in MDC (Makati Development Corp.) or Land Development is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in PROCORE is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in Quantity and Cost Estimation
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp.
  • Completed Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training from Dole or other accredited training agency
  • Computer proficient and good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and meet strict deadline
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Able to work well within a team-based environment
  • Must be flexible when it comes to location
  • With driver's license is a plus
