Systems Analyst

We're seeking a talented and experienced Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Education Management industry. In this role, you'll be instrumental in helping us leverage data to improve our services and better serve our students and educators. You'll be working with a variety of systems, from CRMs to LMSs, to extract, analyze, and present data in a meaningful way.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
  • Participate in ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Document data processes and maintain data dictionaries.
  • Work with multiple systems (CRMs, LMSs, etc.) to gather and integrate data.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Clearly articulate technical concepts and your day-to-day work to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role. (Ideally 5+ years for more independent responsibilities)
  • Proven hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling and visualization techniques.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Python is a plus.
  • Experience working with data from multiple systems, such as CRMs and LMSs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.
