What You'll Do:

  • Lead and execute impactful internal audits across various banking operations, identifying and assessing key risks.
  • This position requires team leadership experience to effectively coordinate audit projects and guide team members.
  • Dive deep into financial and operational data, uncovering trends and providing insightful recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management and business units to drive the implementation of corrective actions and enhance internal controls.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed on the latest industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.

What You'll Bring:

A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required for this position.

  • Proven experience in internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Minimum 5-6 years of internal audit experience in financial services is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and audit software
  • A strong understanding of relevant accounting and auditing standards
  • A commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Professional certifications in audit or risk management are required.
