About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Internal Audit Officer with strong experience in the construction industry to ensure operational, financial, and compliance integrity across all company functions and project sites. The ideal candidate will play a key role in safeguarding company assets, improving internal controls, and ensuring that all financial and operational activities comply with company policies and government regulations.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Conduct regular and special audits covering financial, operational, and compliance areas across all departments and project sites.

Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Perform audit of procurement, warehouse, project costing, payroll, and accounting transactions specific to construction operations.

Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.

Monitor and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations by respective departments.

Collaborate with management to strengthen process discipline and accountability.

Ensure full compliance with company policies, DOLE, BIR, and other regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in MS Excel, audit software, and ERP systems

  4. Reporting & Recommendations – Provides timely, accurate, and actionable audit findings to management.

  5. Follow-up & Continuous Improvement – Ensures implementation of audit recommendations and monitors improvements.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

Completion rate of scheduled audits: 100%

Timely submission of audit reports: 100% on or before deadline

Percentage of implemented recommendations: ≥ 90%

Reduction in repeat audit findings: ≥ 20% quarterly

Accuracy rate of audit findings: 100%

Zero cases of material misstatement or fraud undetected during audits
