Nurse Assistant

The Nurse Assistant supports nurses in the delivery of total nursing care.

• Participates during endorsement and patients' rounds
• Assists nurses in the delivery of the nursing care plan for patients.
• Takes temperature, pulse rate, respiratory, and blood pressure, and reports any abnormalities to the nurse on duty.
• Assists patients in the daily care routine, changes patient's gown and bed sheet as needed
• Passes and empties bedpans and collects required specimens for laboratory procedures.
• Takes patient's records of food intake and output as ordered.
• Update the white board in the patient's room
• Attends the patient's call promptly and anticipates their needs.
• Assists in walking and transporting patients to various hospital departments.
• Performs simple procedures such as enemas, applying cold compress, and providing hot water bags.
• Assists doctors in bedside procedures such as wound dressing.
• Assists in postmortem care and spiritual care
• Participates in required Quality Assurance Training and activities
• Other duties or ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (underboard) or a registered Caregiver/Midwife (NC II)
• With at least 1 year of experience in caregiving or bedside nursing
• Must have excellent Customer Service Skills and have high sense of urgency and accuracy
• Must be strong built and able to carry large items
• Ability to work in a face-paced environment
• Willing to be assigned in different clinical areas/units within the hospital
• Willing to work in Arca South, Western Bicutan, Taguig City on a rotating/shifting schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 per month
