The Production & Studio Lead facilitates the creative process to ensure quality input to and output from the creative team and studio. They support the Creative Studio and Delivery Manager to ensure that creative and production briefs from Client Relationship Managers and Delivery Leads flow efficiently into the creative and production departments following agreed processes and procedures. They are the gatekeeper of working coming in and out of the studio, so will have an eye for a good brief and quality creative work. The Production & Studio Lead is responsible for scheduling weekly and daily traffic meetings (as appropriate) with the creative and production teams to check projects are running on time with the correct resource allocation, as well as leading the local studio team by example.
Key AccountabilitiesWhat you'll be doing:
Process & Operations:
- You'll create and maintain trusted partner relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties, providing insight and SME knowledge on the process.
- You'll initiate, create, and deliver ongoing training on departmental administrative processes.
- You'll support Creative Delivery Manager on implementation of process and procedure developments within Creative, Studio & Traffic.
- You'll be the SME and admin owner of project management tool, and responsible for the training of new team members.
- You'll be responsible for data gathering and departmental reporting on version control in support of correct job reconciliation.
Creative Management:
- You'll facilitate the creative process to ensure quality input and output from the creative team, whilst working with the Creative Delivery Manager to promote the creative workflow and processes.
- You'll screen and evaluate production briefs, pushing back to Delivery Leads where necessary if brief is incomplete.
- You'll be responsible for traffic management and ownership over the scheduling of creative resources globally, utilizing scheduling tool (Monday), including coordinating and leading traffic meetings globally.
- You'll take full ownership of production management and quality check of creative and studio work to meet the time and budget requirements set by the Delivery Lead or Client Delivery Manager.
- You'll run quality control checks on all creative before it is delivered to Delivery Lead.
- You'll support with minor studio amendments and develop additional skills to support the creative team (e.g., Phenom Pages).
You'll need to demonstrate:
- Understanding of the skills, people and timescales for all types of creative projects.
- Expertise on an online project production management platform -
- Experience of working with creative teams in a professional environment.
- Understanding of quality control processes.
- Understanding of creative process and workflows. Has the ability to identify a well-written, complete brief, identify if requirements are missing. Understands creative specs and requirements for a variety of project types including video, digital ads, websites, etc.
- Previous experience within a similar creative/advertising/employer brand/communications agency environment.
- Preferably to have previous design, video, or web production experience, including WordPress or other CMS, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or AfterEffects.
- Extensive knowledge of PowerPoint.
