We're looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer / Architect who can bring thoughtful detail, technical accuracy, and design sensibility to our growing team.

You'll work on interior and architectural projects across hospitality, residential, and commercial spaces — from concept to completion. This role bridges creativity and coordination, design and documentation, and collaboration and leadership.

What you'll do:

  • Develop design concepts and technical drawings with minimal supervision
  • Lead portions of design development, detailing, and documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to align design intent and execution
  • Review drawings and mentor junior designers in production and quality standards
  • Prepare material boards, presentations, and close-out documents
  • Conduct site visits to ensure that work on site meets design and specification standards
  • Contribute to estimates, procurement coordination, and value engineering discussions
  • Uphold Studio Ong's documentation standards, timelines, and systems for project tracking

What we're looking for:

  • Licensed Architect or Interior Designer, or with equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in design and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Suite
  • Strong sense of space planning, proportion, and detailing
  • Clear communicator — both in design discussions and documentation
  • Organized, proactive, and dependable in project coordination
  • Able to lead small project scopes and guide junior teammates
  • Grounded, resourceful, and able to problem-solve gracefully under pressure
