The Role:

Technical Writer – Construction / Specification / Architecture

This isn't about software manuals.

As a Technical Writer at Hubexo, you'll author and maintain
construction specifications
that shape real-world projects. You'll ensure our specification content reflects the latest building codes, standards, and best practice — accuracy is everything.

This is what you'll be doing

• Reviewing, updating, and restructuring specification content in our
  Chorus Authoring Platform (CAP)
  .
• Creating new authored specification content that reflects evolving standards, codes, technologies, and practice.
• Ensuring customer feedback informs updates and improvements.
• Researching technical issues and liaising with standards bodies, associations, manufacturers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Aligning content to classification systems:
  Uniclass, CAWS, USMS, Archifyspec
  .
• Supporting the development of new specification content sets in line with company strategy.

About You

This is not a software documentation role
— your
expertise
lies in
construction, architecture, and specifications
.

• Degree in a construction-related discipline (
  Architecture
  ,
  M&E
  ,
  Electrical
  ,
  Landscape
  ).
• 5+ years' experience in
  architecture
  , M&E, landscape, or construction specification writing.
• Strong understanding of
  building regulations and industry standards
  .
• Exposure to the
  UK market
  is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-focused, methodical, and rigorous.
• Proficient with MS Office, databases, and online research tools.
• Able to start training immediately in a
  hybrid, day-shift role (10 AM – 7 PM Manila time)
  .
