The Technical Writer for Construction Law is responsible for creating, recording, and responding to legal correspondences, memos, and contracts pertaining to projects handled by the company.

  • Develop written correspondences, contracts, official memos, and business material for the company or projects.
  • Review, validate, standardize, and make changes to work materials, contracts, memos, and office forms as needed.
  • Maintain records and physical custody of all official memos, contracts, business correspondences, and appendices.
  • Organize research material and complete the writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Review prepared written work and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction based on agreed standards or any adjustments throughout a period of time.
  • Keep abreast of internal policies pertaining to contract agreements and other regulatory practices affecting the construction industry.

  • Interview support and engineering team members as part of data gathering work in preparing material and sources for correspondence

Qualifications

  • Certification, associate's, or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, AB English, or any related courses
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a Paralegal or Technical Writer role
  • Investigative mind with strong research skills
  • Experience in preparing communication letters, correspondences, contracts, official memos, and business material for the company or projects
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino
