Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA ).
  • Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and applicable regulations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff; provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Support external audits by preparing required documentation and coordinating auditor requests.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
