Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory System & Process Management

  2. Implement, monitor, and continuously improve inventory control systems and SOPs across all branches.

  3. Establish and maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and

reconciliation processes.

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for stock handling, storage, and transfers.

  • Inventory Planning & Forecasting

  • Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and promotional plans to forecast inventory needs for each branch.

  • Determine optimal stock levels and reorder points to maintain healthy inventory turnover ratios.

  • Coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory.

  • Stock Health & Liquidation Management

  • Regularly analyze aging stock, slow-movers, and excess inventory across the network. Identify products requiring liquidation and provide actionable recommendations to Retail Operations Manager and Store Managers.

  • Develop and execute strategies for inventory liquidation while maximizing recovery value.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with warehouse team to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

  • Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize stock transfers between branches and warehouse.

  • Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams on purchase planning and stock allocation.

  • Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct regular inventory audits across all branches and warehouse facilities.

  • Lead annual stock-taking activities and ensure compliance with financial auditing requirements.

  • Implement corrective actions to address discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.

  • Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify opportunities to enhance inventory management processes through technology and workflow optimization.

  • Develop and maintain inventory performance dashboards and regular management reports using Google Sheets.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce shrinkage, improve inventory turnover, and optimize working capital.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management in retail operations
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization) and inventory management software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
  • Proven experience in process improvement and inventory optimization
  • Preferably can start ASAP.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with retail inventory management systems

  • Knowledge of retail math and inventory KPIs (GMROI, sell-through, weeks of supply)

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • APICS/CPIM certification is a plus

  • Willingness to travel to different store locations as needed
