ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will initially provide general administrative support to our senior staff. With further training and assessment, you will progress to more complex tasks, including drafting correspondence, preparing contracts of sale, lodging stamp duty, ordering searches, and preparing settlement adjustments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Initial Duties:

  • Perform general administrative tasks and provide support to senior staff
  • Assist with day-to-day operations within the team

Progressive Duties (upon training and assessment):

  • Draft legal correspondence
  • Prepare contracts of sale
  • Lodge stamp duty applications
  • Order property searches
  • Prepare settlement adjustments

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION

  • At least 3 – 5 years' experience in law firm or direct property law.
  • Immediate availability to commence employment
  • Familiarity with Smokeball or Triconvey systems is advantageous, but not essential; online training can be provided
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to learn and progressively assume greater responsibilities
