Job description

  • Conducting physical inventories of items to ensure that they are accurately recorded and valued for financial reports
  • Inspecting physical inventory to determine where items are in good condition or damaged
  • Performing cycle audits to ensure that the company is accurately recording inventory costs in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Prepares and reports audit findings to management to ensure that problems encountered during the audit are resolved
  • Inspecting warehouses to ensure that inventory levels are in line with company standards
  • Reviewing all transaction records to ensure that all items are accounted for
  • Assist in training the warehouse team in ensuring to maintain proper inventory of all items and in warehouse management

Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any Business Course is required
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5-year experience in inventory audit is preferred or in any related field
  • Skills: Has time management, organizational skills, strong and clear communication skills – oral and written, strong business acumen, strong mathematical skills, in good physical condition
