Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Management & Continuous Improvement: Partner with the management team to contribute innovative ideas, drive operational enhancements, and champion the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, processes, and procedures. The goal is to optimize project results while consistently meeting stringent quality standards, company objectives, and customer expectations.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation: Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes expert collaboration, skillful negotiation of project requirements and expectations, and ensuring consistent delivery and adherence to the maintenance strategy through effective stakeholder management.
  • Strategic Communication & Influence: Keep stakeholders well-informed about relevant market changes and their potential impact on engineering design and development. Proactively propose strategic solutions that maintain uncompromising quality and service while optimizing costs, effectively influencing stakeholder buy-in.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison & Collaboration: Serve as a critical liaison, fostering seamless communication and robust collaboration with other departments, customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure project cohesion and successful outcomes.
  • Team Integration & Operational Excellence: Foster effective communication and strong collaboration within and across departmental teams to ensure seamless operations, efficient project execution, and a unified approach to achieving project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in project management, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity or within a PMO environment.
  • Proven Project Leadership: Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large and complex projects involving cross-functional teams, consistently delivering results within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Industry Acumen & Stakeholder Focus: Proven experience within the construction or food industry is highly desirable, with a strong emphasis on driving project and process improvement initiatives and a demonstrable history of effective stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport, facilitate discussions, and effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Deep Understanding of Waterfall Methodology: Comprehensive and practical understanding of Waterfall project management methodologies, including its principles, processes, and best practices for successful implementation.
  • Mastery of Stakeholder Management & Negotiation: Exceptional negotiating skills with a proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, build consensus, manage expectations, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Possesses a deep understanding of stakeholder management principles and techniques.
  • Technical Proficiency: High level of proficiency with industry-standard project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.) for planning, tracking, and reporting.

Key Emphasis: This role demands a highly skilled project management professional with exceptional stakeholder management and negotiating skills, coupled with a deep understanding and practical application of the Waterfall methodology to drive successful project delivery.
