Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within the retail supply chain and ERP space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while driving business value for clients. This role combines project execution, presales involvement, and consulting services, with a focus on retail operations, supply chain optimization, and technology implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with retail and supply chain requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for ERP and supply chain initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while meeting client expectations.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across retail operations, logistics, procurement, and IT.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly to maintain trust and engagement.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Drive accountability and maintain motivation throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Risk and Change Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly in retail supply chain and ERP implementations.
  • Develop contingency plans to manage project challenges.
  • Track and control project scope, schedule, and costs to minimize impact on delivery.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and metrics.
  • Analyze project outcomes to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management and clients.

6. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, designs, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in retail, supply chain, or ERP projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, , Asana).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Retail Supply Chain, ERP implementation, logistics, or inventory management projects.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Confident in presenting to C-level executives.
