Job Title: Electrician (Construction Industry)

Location: Quezon City

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in construction projects. The role ensures that all electrical works are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with electrical codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, and power distribution networks in accordance with project plans and electrical codes.
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot faults, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Install conduits, circuit breakers, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and other trades to ensure proper integration of electrical works.
  • Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, megger testers).
  • Maintain records of electrical installations, inspections, and repairs.
  • Assist in estimating materials, tools, and labor required for electrical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a TESDA NCII (Electrical Installation & Maintenance) certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an electrician in the construction industry (vertical or infrastructure projects).
  • Knowledge of local electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams.
  • Physically fit and willing to work on-site.
  • With good teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
