Position Summary:

The Cashier Associate is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent service. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to operate POS systems, and the capability to handle cash and payment transactions. The Cashier Associate also plays a key role in maintaining a positive shopping experience, solving customer concerns, and supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the POS system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and concerns.
  • Ensure checkout areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain accuracy in balancing daily sales and cash register reports.
  • Resolve customer issues with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
  • Support the team by motivating and collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Work effectively under pressure during busy store hours.

Educational & Work Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail.
