The Shift Engineer is a technical professional responsible for monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment during assigned shifts. They ensure continuous and efficient operation of machinery, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and perform essential maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns. Shift Engineers play a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting production or facility operations 24/7.

Job Description:

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment during shift hours.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems (pumps, compressors, HVAC, piping systems, etc.).

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and carry out corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, incidents, maintenance activities, and shift reports.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and support reliability improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting.

  • Able to effectively communicate with the team.

  • Amenable to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
