Role Overview

We are building a pioneer team of US mortgage underwriters to review and process home loan applications. This role is critical in ensuring that lending decisions align with US mortgage laws, underwriting standards, and company policies.

The Associate (P1) will focus on standard underwriting reviews, while the Specialist (P2) will handle more complex cases and provide technical support to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate home loan applications by verifying borrower information, documentation, and creditworthiness.
  • Apply a solid understanding of US mortgage regulations, lending authority, and underwriting policies to all decisions.
  • Ensure all underwriting work is compliant, accurate, and completed within set timelines.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve missing or conflicting information.
  • For P2 – Specialist: Review complex and high-value applications, and mentor associates on technical and compliance matters.
