STI College Marikina is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Accounting Faculty Member to join our academic team. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Accounting subjects, strictly following the course outline provided by STI Head Office (STI HO), and ensuring that students acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures in accordance with the STI HO course outline.
  • Prepare and implement class activities, assignments, and assessments aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and professional growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Stay updated with current trends and developments in the Accounting profession.
  • Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field (Master's degree or units is an advantage).
  • Teaching experience at the tertiary level is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering student success.
