We are looking for Senior Accountant for our client located in BGC.

Salary: Up to 65K

Set-up: 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Enter all transactions into Xero
  • Reconcile transactions with bank statements / Perform account reconciliation and data entry
  • Handle expenses and bank reconciliations.
  • Record business expenses incurred on personal credit cards into Xero.
  • Manage reimbursement processes for business expenses.
  • Generate end-of-year financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Handle payroll and superannuation tasks.
  • Prepare BAS/IAS reports and financial reporting.
  • Perform management reporting in Excel.

Qualifications:

  • Fully Xero certified with relevant bookkeeping and accounting qualifications years of work experience with CPA & CA qualifications)
  • Strong Excel Skills (lookups, pivot tables, automation of reporting using formulas, data manipulation) opportunity for growth in this area.
  • Must have experience managing Australia based clients/books
  • Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role (especially in Bookkeeping,
    Accounts Payable, Expense Reconciliation, Payroll)
  • Self-motivated, committed, and reliable with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Broad knowledge of financial procedures and policies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
