Overview

The Managed Service Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our daily and monthly data processes. This role focuses on the operational side of data analytics, including monitoring automated scripts, managing data integrity, and performing ad-hoc data tasks to support key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Script Monitoring and Operations:

  • Monitor and maintain automated scripts (primarily in Python and SQL) used for daily and monthly data processing and reporting tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any script failures, performance issues, or data discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in deploying updates and enhancements to existing operational scripts under the guidance of the core team.
  • Maintain logs and documentation of script performance and issue resolution.

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Perform essential data management tasks, including data cleansing, transformation, validation, and manipulation to ensure high levels of data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries to extract and prepare data from various relational databases.
  • Use Python (specifically libraries like Pandas) for data manipulation and preliminary analysis.
  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports using Microsoft Excel, leveraging advanced functions like PivotTables, Power Query, and VLOOKUPs.

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Work closely with our clients to understand data requirements and operational workflows.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for all processes, scripts, and data workflows you are responsible for.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a role such as Data Analyst, Data Operations Analyst, BI Analyst, or a similar technical position.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries. Must be comfortable with joins, subqueries, window functions, and common table expressions (CTEs)/
  • Python Proficiency: Demonstrable proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting. The candidate must be able to understand, modify, and write scripts. Essential experience with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • MS Office Suite: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; General Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., LookerStudio).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and services (e.g., GCP).
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Loan) principles and best practices.
  • Prior experience working in a managed services or project-based consulting environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
