As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance and Accounts team with essential financial operations, analysis, and reporting. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial management within the education sector, enabling you to develop practical skills while contributing to the growth of Luova Education Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance: Assist with financial audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Process Improvement: Propose and help implement strategies to improve financial processes and efficiency.
  • Official Receipt (OR) Recording: Accurately record and maintain official receipts for all financial transactions.
  • Billing Reconciliation: Reconcile student billing accounts, ensuring all payments are correctly applied and discrepancies addressed. Includes tracker update.
  • Bookkeeping/Data entry: Assist in maintaining financial records, including entering transactions, updating ledgers, and ensuring accurate data entry, writing transactions to the manual books of accounts, if necessary.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support to the Finance Team, including facilitate banking matters, filing and organizing financial documents.
  • Undergo the required orientation/training program conducted by the COMPANY and the University
  • Complete the agreed duration of his/her internship, and if unable to do so, notify the COMPANY and the University's Internship Coordinator in writing of his/her intent and reasons to prematurely end his/her internship at least three (3) days before his/her last day of the internship;
  • Submit required practicum/internship documents within the deadline, including a monthly journal of practicum experiences describing his/her training activities, problem/s encountered, and reflections on the training experience to the Internship Coordinator (if applicable to the course);
  • Perform tasks and activities following the Internship Plan;
  • Maintain confidentiality, during and after the internship period, of all information, data, and business or trade secrets of the COMPANY where such information is not within the public domain and is indicated or understood to be confidential;
  • Use all information and materials received from the COMPANY for the sole purpose of performing his/her duties under the internship program;
  • Respect and comply with the relevant rules and regulations of CHED, the COMPANY, and the University;
  • Be personally responsible for all liabilities, injury to him/herself or property or persons attributable to his/her fault or negligence for the duration of the Internship Program; and
  • Report to the COMPANY's focal person and the University's Internship Coordinator for an exit assessment/interview upon completion of the Program.
