Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff; assign tasks and evaluate performance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and financial reviews.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Support inventory accounting and cost analysis related to oil and flour products.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align financial reporting with business goals.
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in retail distribution or FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of BIR regulations and Philippine financial reporting standards.
