About the role

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for analyzing and optimizing warehouse processes and operations to ensure efficient material flow and storage. This role involves developing comprehensive plans to monitor and manage warehouse facilities while reviewing the quality and efficiency of storage systems and layout designs. The ideal candidate will be an analytical and logical problem-solver who identifies feasible solutions to enhance service delivery and operational performance.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans, recommends and implements all warehouse activities and relevant inventory management activities to ensure that required materials are available at the right time, quantity and quality.
  • Analyze the information flow for end to end warehouse processes from order initiation to receiving,handling,distribution and storage.
  • Analyze the execution of operations according to different warehousing situations and contingencies.
  • Identifies developmental needs and recommends and implements training plans and and programs for inventory management and warehousing staff.
  • Implements inventory policies and procedures to ensure efficient warehousing and inventory management activities.
  • Implementation of warehousing plans and programs to ensure achievement of department objectives.
  • Oversees all incoming and outgoing shipment activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipment
  • Follow safety precautions in all areas
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned by the Warehouse Department Head

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of any business related courses/Accountancy/Industrial Engineer
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required
  • Preferably 1-4 years experience employee in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Must possess strong leadership qualities
  • Must have analytical skills and good decision making
  • Must be detail and goal-oriented
