ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a mission-critical Enterprise Lakehouse Platform. This platform will unify the flexibility of data lakes with the structured power of data warehouses—serving as the foundation for scalable analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise reporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, technical awareness in cloud and big data environments, and the ability to align cross-functional teams toward a common vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the enterprise lakehouse platform

  • Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to define clear project goals and deliverables

  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation with precision

  • Ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve risks or roadblocks through effective mitigation strategies

  • Communicate progress and challenges to internal stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Enforce data governance and security standards in all phases of project execution

  • Promote a collaborative, high-performance team environment

  • Continuously optimize project management processes to support scaling and agility

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in data platform, analytics, or enterprise IT projects

  • Strong understanding of data lake, warehouse, and lakehouse architectures

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, Delta Lake, etc.)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to deliver projects within budget, scope, and time

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is a strong advantage

  • SAP project or integration experience is a plus
