Job Overview

The Senior Fixed Asset Analyst will support the business in the analyses and reconciliation of fixed assets accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in providing reports and financial information to different internal and external clients within the limits of the service level agreement and company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate computation and recording of capitalizable interest.
  • Ensures asset data such as depreciation methods, and lives are accurate and analyzes results of depreciation.
  • Provides accurate data or reports based on fixed asset assignment to internal and external clients (e.g. Fixed Asset Register Validation.)
  • Performs robust consolidation and reconciliation of count results by comparing actual count with the detailed property records.
  • Develops guidelines related to physical verification (pre, during, and post verification) of assigned fixed assets in alignment with Standard Policies and Procedures and submits to the Fixed Assets Manager for review and approval.
  • Ensures that the result of the physical verification is properly and accurately recorded in the Fixed Assets Register.
  • Regularly reconciling fixed asset General Ledger Balances vs. Subsidiary Ledgers.
  • Conducting regular review and analysis of the computation of depreciation, additions, deductions etc. in collaboration with the plants and head office.
  • Execute period-end tasks in SAP based on closing timeline.
  • Identify and get details on the issues that impede closing activities.
  • Participate in training programs designed to build competencies and activities organized to promote camaraderie and teamwork within the organization.
  • Operate in compliance with SOX and business controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field
  • CPA is an advantage
  • 4-5 years Fixed Assets Accounting experience in a Shared Services or BPO industry
  • Required experience in Lease Accounting
  • Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
  • Hybrid work setup arrangement
  • Office location is in Bagumbayan, Quezon City
  • Can start immediately
