Senior Data Analyst

We are searching for a Senior Data Analyst who can work with data, translate numbers into meaningful narratives, and create valuable insights for stakeholders. The Role The Principal – Data Analyst will serve as a subject‑matter expert for delivering timely and accurate reporting, own the delivery of complex dashboards in line with AMS best practice, AMS policies, and client procedures, and work closely with the Senior Manager – Client Services to manage stakeholder expectations and scope reporting suite enhancements. They will champion quality and efficiency across reporting suites, driving consistent delivery in accordance with established roadmaps and provide mentorship to junior team members as needed. Key Accountabilities Project Management: Strong project‑management skills, with the ability to manage BI projects and initiatives. Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and practices to ensure data integrity and security. Reporting and Dashboards: Ability to create comprehensive reports and dashboards that communicate insights to stakeholders. Needs low rework due to accuracy. Reporting Utilization: Monitors and ensures high utilization of reports. Regularly assesses and updates the reporting suite to ensure relevance and alignment with business needs. Clearly communicates timelines and acts to resolve any issues that may affect report delivery proactively, seeking support from line manager or more senior members as necessary. Acts on feedback from CSAT scores to continuously improve reporting and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Data Model and Technical Debt Ownership: Demonstrates mastery in independently developing, maintaining, and optimizing a central data model; identifies and delivers technical debt improvements through regular communication and documentation of optimization opportunities. Skills & Experience Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Data uploads, cleansing, and handling multiple datasets. Power BI: dashboard management, modeling, and DAX. Understanding of data transformation steps and file update flows. File management (SharePoint), file redirects, and access. Maintain process and documentation. Interpersonal and Analytical Skills Attention to detail and monitors the accuracy of their own delivery. Curiosity to investigate issues and fix data. Customer‑service mindset delivering an exceptional employee experience. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Willing to engage in handover activities to ensure smooth continuity when away (e.g., sick leave). High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in data handling. Why AMS?
