Join the Department of Education – Central Office, Internal Audit Service as a Technical Assistant II (Contract of Service)

Job Summary

Be part of a dynamic team that supports the Director in planning, implementing, monitoring, and documenting programs, projects, and internal audit activities. This role provides technical, administrative, and coordination support to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support in monitoring, evaluation, and data management of assigned programs/projects

- Prepare and review technical documents (reports, policy drafts, PPTs, concept notes, memoranda)

- Assist in planning and coordinating events, conferences, and meetings

- Maintain databases/management information systems (e.g., PMIS)

-Liaise with internal/external stakeholders (LGUs, DepEd units, legal teams)

-Draft minutes, prepare documentation for submissions, and support hiring processes

-Assist audit teams in preparing planning documents, working papers, and reports

- Coordinate schedules, organize audit evidence, and facilitate logistical requirements

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree (preferably in Public Administration, Management, or related fields)

-At least 1 year of relevant work experience

- Minimum of 8 hours relevant training

-Proficient in MS Office and database systems

-Familiarity with internal auditing, admin support, and documentation (an advantage)

Skills & Competencies

-Strong organizational, documentation, and writing/editing skills

-Data organization, planning, and stakeholder communication

-Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

-Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate in a team

Terms of Engagement

Employment Type: Contract of Service (COS)

Monthly Salary: ₱38,000 + ₱3,800 premium pay

Work Location: DepEd Central Office – Internal Audit Service
