Paranaque City, Calabarzon, Philippines KNUTSEN PHILIPPINES INC. Full time ₱900,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates with the General Manager to strategize on obtaining future manpower needs as the Principal requires.

  2. Coordinates with the Crewing Operations Manager to identify critical positions, skillsets, and future needs.

  3. Collaborates with the General Manager to assess the skills, experiences, and qualifications of potential applicants.

  4. To oversee the overall results in the sourcing and supplying of crew requirements for all manned vessels.

  5. Recommends needed updates in the Recruitment procedures to streamline the process and increase productivity and efficiency of the department's routine.

  6. In coordination with the General Manager, manages the department and reports on its performance through:

a. Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

b. Risk Opportunity Registry (ROR)

c. Sourcing status and challenges

d. Explore market best practices in the recruitment and placement of seafarers.

e. Coaching sessions for Recruitment personnel every quarter

  1. Acts as an alternate in conducting personality interviews for all applicants.

  2. Performs technical interviews for all Deck and Engine Rating and Engine Junior Officer applicants

  3. Ensures applicants' compliance with all screen tabs in the Crewing Management System (CMS) before giving the endorsement approval.

  4. Attends and facilitates Recruitment Briefings.

  5. Conducts the performance evaluation of the Recruitment Specialist and Recruitment Assistant.

  6. Ensures that corresponding government policies about Recruitment activities are properly followed based on the current guidelines of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

  7. Performs delegated functions that contribute to employee professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in maritime or any four-year business-related course.

  2. Preferably a merchant marine officer with sailing experience and maritime recruitment experience for at least one (1) year or at least two (2) years' experience in maritime recruitment.

  3. Established network connections and extensive market knowledge within the maritime service industry.

  4. Committed to excellence, strategic, and customer-service oriented.

  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  6. Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and management skills with high resiliency and agility in adapting to the changing demands of the clients.

  7. Represent the company's brand with high integrity, professionalism, and energy.

  8. Exhibits adept interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  9. Exhibits maturity in handling sensitive and confidential information.

  10. Skilled in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
