Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance Analyst will perform testing tasks to identify defects and ensure the product meets quality standards. The QA is responsible for creating and executing manual and automated test scenarios based on functional requirements. The QA should communicate effectively with business analysts, developers, and fellow QAs to analyze requirements and discuss any product issues encountered.

What You Will Need?

Required Skills:

* Demonstrated capability in both manual and automated testing, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites independently

* Proficiency with Selenium or similar automation tools, with a track record of applying these skills to deliver results

* Knowledge of the software development process and QA fundamentals

* Experience in creating test scenarios and test cases, and performing functional testing

* Ability to analyze and understand requirements

* Knowledge of and experience with testing tools such as Jira and Zephyr

* Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

* Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to align with evolving product needs

* Demonstrated capability to define and refine the QA strategy, improve testing processes, and implement best practices for continuous quality improvement

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with ERP solutions such as Infor M3 or related enterprise software

* Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm)

* Experience with cloud-based tools and services, particularly AWS

* Certification in quality assurance or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

* Testing products in a Cloud Suite environment using both manual and automation testing

* Analyzing functional requirements and acceptance criteria

* Creating test scenarios and test cases

* Performing regression testing for the feature being developed

* Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and other automation tools

* Analyzing test results, reporting defects, and tracking issues to resolution

* Collaborating and communicating with project managers, business analysts, developers, and fellow QAs to better understand product requirements and provide testing updates and results

* Participating in planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align testing efforts with development goals

* Continuously improving test coverage and automation efficiency

* Staying up to date with the latest testing tools, applying best practices, and contributing to process improvement

* Evaluating incoming issues to ensure they contain sufficient details for action, reproducing reported problems, and verifying the resolution of defect fixes
