About the Role

This position, reporting directly to the Lead Materials Management Inventory Analysis will be accountable to:

• Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations.
• An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.
• Work collaboratively with Inventory and other colleagues to optimize and deliver sustainable inventory strategy management, and regional stakeholder engagement.
• A core focus of this role will be to provide world class customer service by working collaboratively with mine site personnel and internal customers
• Play a key role in delivering the right part, to the right place at the right time
• Optimize stock levels by conducting analysis through IBM MRO (IQ) software and other PowerBI dashboards(QRG and training provided)
• Produce recommendations for slow moving/obsolete inventory to assist in reducing working capital
• Improve parts availability by processing maintenance requests to stock parts and reviewing parts which missed work orders
• Understanding the company's inventory situation and making suggestions to improve it by balancing business value vs. risk to deliver great outcomes
• Assist the Lead Inventory Analysis in resolving complex issues, review of work allocation, and any associated activities to manage team's performance
• Assist the Lead Inventory Analysis to continuously update and improve procedures and Quick Reference Guides (QRG) documentation for the Team
• Inventory Balance Reconciliation and regional specific reporting
• Maintain Material Data setting to optimally support supply availability for the business
• FLR banding approvals up to $10,000 USD

About You

The successful candidate should possess:

• Bachelor's degree and / or similar qualification in a business, supply chain and/or data analysis discipline
• You are open, engaging, and a team player with ability to build long term and genuine team relationships
• Comprehensive analytical and strong problem solving capabilities, including the ability to provide recommendations for improvement
• Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous and dynamic environments
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal with influencing talents
• Demonstrated competence to prioritize and organize workload effectively within deadlines
• Capability to support Supply Leaders to deliver upon department KPIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word
• Night Shift (8:00pm - 5:00am Manila time, M-F)
• Language: Spanish
