The Role: Analyst, Financial Analysis

The Analyst will be an important part of the Finance team, helping to drive forward growth and strategy in partnership with the commercial organization. The individual will focus on operational support, analysis, and automation efforts.  The specialist will play a key role with the new business process and revenue from flow tracking by aggregating required data, preparing, and distributing reports, and identifying areas for improvement to operational efficiency.  The Senior Specialist role will be joining and interacting with a global finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process, validate, and prepare data for both monthly reports and Generative AI tools

  • Update and distribute monthly results and reports to teams across the division

  • Draft and provide supporting materials for the Indices Quarterly Financial Review and Quarterly Business Review

  • Update dashboards that are shared with Commercial and Product teams and Division Leadership

  • Assist with billing, contract, and new business queries

  • Perform quality assurance testing on automation and database projects

  • Prepare journal entries for month close, as needed

  • Support the validation and reporting of the new business pipeline

  • Assist with preparation of ad-hoc revenue reports and analyses

  • Identify areas for automation to help improve efficiency for the team, and help drive forward these automation processes

What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications:

  • Accounting or Finance degree

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting

  • Very well organized and detail oriented

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • High proficiency with Excel

  • Must be flexible in work schedule.

Additional, Helpful Qualifications:

  • Interest in or experience with AI and automation a plus

  • Proficiency or knowledge in PowerPoint, SmartView, Tableau, Anaplan, Alteryx, or Salesforce a plus
