What You'll Do

Accounting & Finance

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
 Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts with precision.
 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and reporting requirements.
 Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
 

Audit Support & Documentation

Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
 Track and reconcile client contracts, payments, and billing agreements.
 Drive process improvements across internal and client billing systems.
 

Month-End & Year-End Close

Lead monthly and annual close activities—reconciliations, allocations, depreciation, and expense review.
 Support timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance efforts.
 What You'll Bring

Experience & Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in professional services or nonprofit consulting.
 Proven experience managing payroll, billing, and client/contractor invoicing.
 Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance standards.
 

Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and Excel.
 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
 Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
 Clear, collaborative communication across teams and departments.
