About the role:

Yondu Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer (Selenium) to join our talented Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through the design and development of automated testing frameworks.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable automated testing frameworks using Selenium and other complementary tools
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios
  3. Write efficient, readable, and well-documented automated test scripts to cover a wide range of test cases
  4. Continuously optimise and enhance the automation suite to improve test coverage, speed, and reliability
  5. Identify and troubleshoot issues in the automated testing infrastructure and provide timely resolutions
  6. Contribute to the development and refinement of testing best practices and standards
  7. Mentor and train junior team members on automation techniques and best practices

What we're looking for:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation using Selenium
  2. Proficient in coding languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools
  3. Excellent understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance practices
  4. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data-driven, modular, and scalable test automation frameworks
  5. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes
  6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
