Job Overview

We're seeking a technically skilled QA Automation Engineer to ensure top-notch quality for our real-estate tech platform. You won't just find bugs—you'll prevent them by building reliable automated testing systems, optimizing CI pipelines, and integrating AI-powered evaluations. This role is perfect for engineers who love creating maintainable test frameworks and pushing the boundaries of automated QA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust test pyramids for and React micro-frontends
  • Write resilient, maintainable Playwright tests
  • Configure BrowserStack for real cross-browser testing
  • Implement Percy visual testing to catch UI regressions
  • Introduce LLM evaluation suites for testing AI features
  • Orchestrate GitHub Actions pipelines and maintain CI/CD workflows
  • Design smart test data strategies for speed and predictability
  • Explore autonomous testing tools to expand coverage
  • Track key QA metrics: pass rate, flake rate, coverage, speed

Must-Haves

  • 3–7+ years in test automation with strong TypeScript and Playwright skills
  • Experience with BrowserStack or similar real-device clouds
  • Configured Percy at scale and handled visual diffs
  • Experienced with CI/CD, especially GitHub Actions
  • Strong API testing knowledge (contracts, schemas, property-based)
  • Understanding of test data and environment management
  • Excellent written communication; can turn fuzzy bug reports into reproducible tests

Bonus Points

  • Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks (DeepEval, Promptfoo, LangSmith)
  • Knowledge of Supabase/Postgres and SQL test data seeding
  • Model-based testing experience (XState, GraphWalker, etc.)
  • Familiarity with autonomous testing tools (testRigor, Virtuoso, mabl)
  • Java/JUnit experience
  • Exposure to workflow automation systems like n8n or SendGrid
