Merchandise Planning and Control Assistant Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build, update inventory and sales trackers, and adjust demand planning models

Monitor stock levels across all channels to ensure we have the right product, in the right quantity, in the right condition, in the right place, at the right time

Take care of the weekly replenishment of stocks to all channels of the 2 brands. Ensure that the stores are sufficiently stocked.

Prepare the allocation of new items to all channels (Store, ECOM, Wholesale, Events)

Analyzes items that need to be pulled out from the stores to give space for new incoming products.

Develop systems to trigger purchase orders (PO) based on reorder points and forecasted demand.

Create POs in NetSuite

Updating of open POs – recording of actual units received in NetSuite

Uploading of new items in the system

10.   Updating of inventory and prices (markup and markdown) of the items in the system.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum of 2 years in purchasing, preferably within the fashion retail and/or F&B industry
  2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  3. Highly analytical - familiar with different forecasting models
  4. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with the ability to solve problems efficiently.
  5. Excellent time and task management skills
  6. Ability to work independently and take initiative
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Demonstrates a sense of urgency with a proactive mindset
  9. Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on varied tasks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in merchandise planning and control (preferably in the retail industry)
  • Experience with NetSuite is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Skilled in maintaining organized filing systems and handling sensitive documentation.
  • Able to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Note: This job post is for a different group of companies based in BGC, Taguig.

The successful candidate must be willing to work on-site, 5 days a week.
